Episode #4 ~ "Family Ties"

Now that the supposed animal that terrorized Mystic Falls was caught, the city prepares for the traditional party of the founders. Elena borrow a pair of alliances and a pocket watch to show relics of the founders of the board. She asks Stefan to escort her to the party and Damon "convinces" Caroline to take him too. Zack and Stefan intend to use to weaken Damon verbena. For this, they devise plans to trick the vampire and make him drink the poison. At the party, Damon finds a way to be alone with Elena and ends up getting what he wants to provoke a discussion between the couple. It can also recover, among the relics, a precious crystal that hides a secret of 145 years. Caroline is neglected and Elena sees the bites on his body. By Damon intimidating, she ends up leaving the enraged vampire Caroline causing great danger. Since Mystic Falls was able to get rid of vampires, for several years, board members, from generation to generation, have the mission to protect the city. Now, with the imminent threat, other secrets will surface and a small group in charge of keeping everyone safe.
